Candidates for the position of vice president must have previously served on the board of directors for at least one year. Nominations are due April 10, 2012. Nomination Application for Office form can be downloaded here.
Eligibility
The recipient should have a minimum of ten years as a regular certified member.
Criteria
- The nominee must have demonstrated national prominent leadership in ATPO. Influence and achievement in clinical practice, education, or science is desirable.
- The nominee must have documented evidence of significant contributions to ATPO and the profession.
- The nominator must be an ATPO regular member or Fellow in good standing.
Frequency and Intent of Presentation
This award is not intended to be given every year. It is intended to honor and show respect to the significant contributions made by the ATPO member.
Award
The recipient of the award will be announced at ATPO’s Annual Membership Luncheon and shall receive a plaque and “Fellow” charm for ATPO Membership Pin. Upon earning Fellow status, Fellow members do not pay membership dues.
The nomination deadline is July 15, 2012.
