The success of ATPO is due to the commitment of its members. ATPO presents many opportunities for you to show your dedication to your profession by sharing your time and expertise through volunteer efforts. ATPO and its community of eye care professionals needs your support in the following areas:
ATPO's Annual Scientific Session
Each year we need volunteers to monitor rooms, collect evaluations and tickets, and check registrations at the Annual Scientific Session. Please contact the ATPO Manager if you are available.
Annual Meeting Instructors and Co-Instructors
Volunteers are needed to instruct and co-instruct workshops during the JCAHPO and ATPO Annual Continuing Education Program for Ophthalmic Medical Personnel. Please contact the JCAHPO Education Department
if you would like to teach.
ATPO Regional Education Meetings
Volunteers are needed to instruct at regional education workshops throughout the year.
ATPO Local Chapter Leaders
Bring ATPO to your neighborhood by organizing a chapter in your area. Established chapters are also eager for volunteers for various activities.
Help form a network of members willing to serve as mentors in various specialty and sub-specialty areas.
ATPO Committee Chairs and Members
Serve your organization as a committee member, and play an integral part in the advancement of ATPO’s mission, “To provide, expand, and support scientific and educational opportunities for allied health personnel in ophthalmology and to act as an advocate for its members and the profession.”
